The CT-844 (4/4 size) excels in user-friendliness and optimal protection of your instrument. It is sturdy yet lightweight (ripstop nylon). This professional cello case is lined with a soft fabric lining no less than 23 mm thick and offers extra protection above the bridge, around the pegbox, and underneath the case.

For the user's safety in the dark, there is a reflective panel on top. Thanks to the many comfortable and practically placed handles, the CT-844 is easy to pick up from all positions, and of course you can carry the case as a backpack with the comfortable shoulder straps or pick it up as a normal handbag using the designated handles.

The Boston CT-844 is equipped with an accessory pocket at the front to store, for example, extra strings, a back pocket for your music, and a compartment with separate spaces to store 2 bows separately. Finally, there is space at the back to store your name tag in case you ever lose the bag.

About ripstop nylon:

Ripstop nylon is a lightweight fabric with woven ripstop reinforcement in a grid pattern. A special reinforcement technique is used to protect it against tearing and ripping. It is woven with coarse, strong warp and weft threads at intervals so that small tears do not spread. Ripstop fabrics are used, for example, in sails of sailboats, hot air balloons, kites, parachutes, tents, protective clothing for firefighters, and more.

Advantages of ripstop are the favorable strength-to-weight ratio and that small tears cannot spread.
