The D Kurd tuning (fundamental frequency 440 Hz) is one of the most popular scales. The central note is D3, surrounded by the notes A3, Bb3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4 and A4 arranged in a circle. With its bright D minor character, this scale allows for a wide range of musical expression, from calm and meditative to melancholic or more energetic and uplifting. The instrument works equally well as a solo instrument or in combination with other handpans or instruments such as tongue drums, guitar or percussion.

Each handpan comes with a padded bag made of tear-resistant nylon fabric, offering reliable protection during transport. It can be carried by hand using the two handles or comfortably worn as a backpack with adjustable shoulder straps. A practical outer compartment provides space for small accessories such as a metronome.
